Mariana Miller read the old minutes of meetings at Ashland – The Cedars – and Avalon in 1872.

Mary Tilton – no

Rebecca Miller asked if anyone had blankets laundered at the Indian Creek Laundry? No one had – but some recommended Tolman Laundry.

Committee Reports-

Education – no report – American Home no report Social Service – Mary Tilton gave the work done in September. Resolutions and Legislation – no reports.

Stella Moore reported for the County Federation telling of the Scholarship Fund – Red Cross Drive – SS League Drive – Health Seals, etc. The Bill for dues - $6.00 – was ordered paid.

{7]} State Federation – Margaret Jones had numerous communications which were not read as time did not permit. _____________________________ Estelle I Moore and Alice Farquhar were appointed a special committee to meet with the Wed. Club relative to the Chinese girl

New Business – A communication from the League of Nations Non-Partisan League was noted – but no action taken.

A report from the Community Council was read – and accepted.

The secretary was asked to send a sympathetic note to Sadie Adams who is in the hospital.

There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
