Ran TS MAIN, BLT and DECTAPE diagnostics.

Found that the DECtape [?] seemed mal-adjusted. Adjusted them with [timing?] pgn DECTAPE Test didn't like them still. Adjusted them again with the scope. Then Dectape test, and the [timing?] test pgn and the scope finally agreed timings were correct.

Ran ts MAIN got occasional (3) errors in part 5 complaining about [devide?] & IDIVB

Got a complaint about mem protect violation from 3421 in job 2 (pt 4) instruction is a JRST 4, 3422 Rel reg = 20000 prot = 10000

Got a [pre??sten] ERROR in job 2 MEM [?] violation at [?] 77

77 / VRST 4, @ 76 76 / 0

Tried reloading TS main - got bells Tried RIM [MAIN?], still got bells Loaded Pt 1 from paper tape stopped at 2321 claiming that CRY 1 didn't set on [?]

Single [stepped?] through the code and found that neither CRY 0 or CRY 1 were getting set by SOJ

Also found but O of the AR & MB zero once [evhen?] it should have been all 1 Pgm was: CLEARM 80J . + 1 JFCL 4, . + 2 JRST 4, JFCL 2, . + 2 JRST 4,

On the 5th try or so, the bug went away. Ran for 1 min then SETO AOBBJP halted JRST 4, . 0/ 400001 000 000 Halt at 4072

Analog suggests that AR CRY or AR CRY 1 is marginal

[Oerewed?] stalls in sets 50J are: nothing ~ AR CRY 1 ~ AR CRY 0 ~ AR CRY 1 AR CRY 0 ~ AR CRY 1 ~ AR CRY 0

Found both 6205's for bits 1 + 2 microphonic. topping top would cause lay to appear. Replaced 6205 for bit 1 No more microphonics.

NOW Margins are worse

System put down and kluge wires in Ampex interface replaced with wire-wrap. After one wiring error and one bad wrap formed, system put up at 12:45

2.15 has been [elubriting?] a bug not seen with either DECTAPE TEST or 2.8. This was determined to be the 4113 that and [?] & flags in the 551 at 1C15 wasn't going all the way to ground. It also turned out that 2 of our spare 4113s had problems. 1 was mysterious and I had the same problem in a different section. Also replaced PI encoder [it?] 1C8, but it seemed it was OK after all.
