1869 ) The morning is quite warm clear & calm My General health is Augt ( Sun 22 ) about like it has been for several weeks I have to keep my
Self bowels regulated by taking Brandith pills I take one about
every 24 or 36 hours & they have a verry Good effect. I
could not live if I did not do something of the kind This
extreme hot weather the braking out of my head & face with
heat & Ichiness has anoyed me a good deal I have bathed my
head in cold Watter every morning rubing it dry & putting
flour on it I have thought it has done some good I am rubing
my face & Jaws with Itch ointment once a day I have lived
entirely upon vegetables I have drank a cup of coffee (weak)
with a cold bisket crumbled in it which serves mostly for my
breakfast or supper. Self My general health has not been so good the last week The boils
& braking out on my face & head has kept me nearly all the time
with some fever & head ake I think at this time they are not
