The following Officers are present to wit: His Honor the Mayor Thos T Minor and Councilmen Furth, Frink, Green, Lake, Neitsz, Russell & Reitze Absent Moran Whereupon the following proceedings are had to wit: Petitions and Communications Petition of Elizabeth H Shumway for permission to remove earth from Randolph Street read and referred to the Street Committee with power to act. Petition of Mary E Kenworthy and others for an iron stone sewer in Sixth Street from Union Street to Pike Street read and referred to Committee on Sewers and Drainage. Petition of W H Gleason and others for extension of Washington Street sewer to Eleventh Street read and referred to Committee on Sewers and Drainage. Peetition of J J Post and others for grading Fifth Street and building sidewalks on both sides of said street from Seneca Street to Mill Street read and referred to St. Com. Ordinances 941 An Ordinance is submitted by the City Attorney entitled "An Ordinance granting the use of the foot of Main Street in the City of Seattle to Thomas Ewing his heirs and assigns for ferry purposes", which after due consideration is passed by the following vote, to wit: In favor of the same Frink, Green, Lake, Neisz, Russell and Reitze. Against the same none. 942 An Ordinance is submitted by the City Attorney entitled "An Ordinance to widen and straighten South Eleventh Street in the city of Seattle Washington Territory, and to provide for the condemnation of real estate necessary therefor", which is passed by the following vote, viz: In favor of the same Frink, Green, Lake, Neisz, Russell and Reitze. Against the same none. 943 An Ordinance is submitted by the City Attorney entitled "An Ordinance establishing the grade of Tenth Street in the City of Seattle between Seneca and Cedar Streets", which is passed by the following vote, viz: In favor of the same Frink, Green, Lake, Neisz, Russell & Reitze.
