To the Hon Mayor and City Council of the City of Seattle

Your petitioners respectfully represent that they are the owners of that certain small wooden building situated on property belonging to the City of Seattle at the corner of Yesler Ave. + 3rd Street

Said buiding is occupied by your petitioners as a Real Estate and Brokerage Office. The said City of Seattle through its proper officers has notified your petitioners to remove the building off from its grounds without delay. Your petitioners have rented ground in the block of land on the west side of 3rd Street between Yesler Avenue and Jefferson Street known as the Yesler Triangle. Said ground so rented is within the fire limits but isolated and so far removed from other buildings that a wooden structure treated thereon will not in any manner increase the insurance rates or fire hazzard of any other building

Wherefore your petitionsers pray that a special permit be granted them to remove their said building from its presenst location on Lot 4 Blk 38 [Borens?] Add. to the Yesler triangle facing 3rd Street+ Yesler streets Aug 3. 1891
