Trustees. No Quorum.

A meeting of the Trustees of the Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn, was holden at the office of the

Secretary in Boston on Present Messrs Bond, Brown, Reed & C.P. Curtis, & a quorum of the board not being present it was voted to adjourn the meeting to Monday next at 4 oclock P.M. at the same place.

Notice - annual meeting. 1835.

Mount Auburn Cemetery The annual meeting of the Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn, will be held on at the Rooms of the Horticultural Society, in Boston, to hear the report of the Treasurer, to determine whether the bye-law fixing the time of the annual meeting shall be altered & to act on any other business to which may legally come before the said Proprietors at the annual meeting. Pursuant to the above notice, which was published more than seven days before the time of meeting in the Boston Daily Advertiser, & Boston Atlas, two newspapers printed in Boston, the Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn met at the time & place therein designated, & the meeting was called to order by the President.

Pursuant to notice published by the Secretary in the Boston Daily Advertiser & other newspapers printed in Boston more than five days before the time of meeting, the Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn met at the Secretarys office in Boston on . The President being absent Dr. Bigelow - was chosen Chairman. The Secretary being absent George T. Curtis was chosen Secretary pro tempore.

The report of the Treasurer which is recorded above was read accepted & ordered to be recorded

Treasurer's Report.

Voted. that the Treasurer be requested to publish in the newspaper such part of his report as he may think fit.

Trustees. chosen.

The following named gentlemen were then elected Trustees by ballot.

Joseph Story, George Bond, Jacob Bigelow, Benjm A. Gould James Reed Charles P. Curtis Martin Brimmer Benjm R. Curtis Isaac Parker, Samuel T. Armstrong.

Pursuant to the above requisition the Secretary of the Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn published, in the Boston Daily Advertizer & other newspapers more than 7 days before the , the following notice.

Mount Auburn Cemetery

The Annual Meeting of the Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn, will be held at the office of the subscriber No 16 Court Street, Boston, on to make choice of a Board of Trustees, to act on the report of the Treasurer, and to transact any other business which may legally come before said meeting. _

Mount Auburn Cemetery. The annual meeting of the Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn, will be held at the office of the subscriber, in Boston, at No. 27 State Street on to choose trustees for the ensuing year, to hear the report of the Treasurer, and to act on any other business which may legally come before the said meeting.

Henry M. Parker. Secretary .

Pursuant to the foregoing notice which was published in the Boston Daily Advertiser, a newspaper printed in the City of Boston, more than seven days in succession before the said time of meeting ( and which notice was also published in other newspapers in Boston) the Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn met at the time and place therein designated. A quorum having assembled the President Dr Bigelow took the chair.

The Treasurer's annual report was then read and accepted.

The meeting then proceeded to the election of nine Trustees by ballot. A committee having been appointed to collect, count, and sort the votes reported that twenty three ballots in all were thrown each of which was for Jacob Bigelow. Martin Brimmer. G.W. Crockett. B.R. Curtis.

Pursuant to the foregoing notice which was published in The Boston Daily Advertiser, a newspaper printed in the City of Boston, more than seven days in succession before the said time of meeting (and which notice was also published in other newspapers in said Boston) the Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn met at the time and place therein designated. A quorum having assembled the President, Dr. Bigelow, took the Chair

The Secretary read an abstract of the proceedings at the last annual meeting.

The Treasurer then read his annual report, which was accepted.

Trustees Election of.

The meeting then proceeded to the election of nine Trustees by ballot. A committe having been appointed to collect count and sort the votes, reported that nineteen ballots in all were thrown, each of which was for Jacob Bigelow. George W. Crockett. Charles P. Curtis. B. R. Curtis. J. J. Dixwell. Benj. A. Gould. John C. Gray. Isaac Parker. James Read. The foregoing gentlemen were accordingly declared elected Trustees for the ensuing year. After some general discussion of the interests and prospects of the Corporation, the meeting adjourned without day. A true record. Attest Henry M. Parker. Secretary
