An Apozeme Take Sena haffe an ounce choice rhubarbe 2 dragms, Aqaricke in Trockesse a dram and a halfe epelhinum or dodder of time 50 grams Aniseede and Cinamon either 40 grames. Sweet ffemell seeds 20 grames: Cloves in number 12; Prepare these and infuse them in a Pinte of Succory water made tart with the oyle of Sulphurr Let them stand all night uppon the Cinders: In the morneing give the infusion a gentle boylinge; untill a fowrth parte of the water bee wasted; Then straine forth the ingredients, and dissolve in the liquor, Two ounces of the sirrupp of roses with Aqarick, and one ounce of the Augustane sirrupp of rhubarbe and soe reserve it for 4 doses or Purges Adde to this Apozeme Creame of tartar 4 scruples, and observe That you were best make upp a fourth parte, or haffe of this att once.
