Sirs:-

I have been instructed by Fort Worth Lodge No. 2144 to ask your assistance in helping us to secure the Grand Lodge for 1908 in this City.

This is a body of men who are striving in every way possible to assist our people in becoming better citizens. We are taxpayers to the City and when we ask anything of you, we feel that we ask our friends.

There are always from 1500 to 2000 delegates to this Grand Meeting each year and they spend a large sum of money in each town they meet.

We feel that your interests are our interests and vice versa, therefore we ask you to give us a letter to this body, if possible by Sat.

Confirming our verbal proposal we hereby agree to make contract, and give satisfactory bond for 10 years maintainance, to fully complete the paving of any or all streets, this day ordered by your honorable commissioner for the sum of $2.35 per sq. Yd., including grade to the depth of necessary subgrade all in the accordance with Waren Bros., form B. specification on the file with the City Secretary.

We wish to say that our permanent plant is now ready for actual work, and we are in position to being and push to complete any street your honorable may see fit to order paved with Bitulithic.
