(Minnie H.) Fudge Cake March 1931
1 C. sugar 2 heaping tablespoonful cocoa ¼ C melted butter 1 egg (unbeaten) ½ C. sour milk 1½ C sifted [underlined] flour 1 t. soda 1 t vanilla Beat Well + add ¼ C. hot water
Filling: ½ C sugar 1 T. cocoa 2 level t cornstarch ¼ C. cold water ½ C hot water cook add small piece butter + no flavoring (fudge frosting made + use coffee for water)

Mrs. Fall's Molasses Cake 1 egg ¼ to ½ C. lard ! ½ C. sugar ½ C. mollasses Cinnamon + nutmeg + salt 2 t. soda (beaten in molasses) 2 C. flour or less ½ C. boiling water last Not too thick Sprinkle sugar on top.
Potato Pumpkin Pie Mix together ½ C. sugar, 1 cup of creamy mashed potato (ready to serve) 2 t. molasses or corn syrup, pinch of salt, ¼ t. each of cinnamon, + ginger, 1 pint of scalded milk + 2 eggs beaten. Bake in unbaked shell same as ordinary pumpkin Pie until firm.

Ginger Bread Pudding
½ cup Sugar | 1 Teasp Soda |
½ " [cup] lard | 2 " [Teasp] Cinnamon |
1 " [cup] Sour milk | 1 " [Teasp] Cloves |
1 " [cup] Raisins | 2 " [Teasp] Cocoa |
2 " [cups] flour (a little salt) |
Raspberry Pie Put enough raspberries in to fill pie after they have been drained. Put flour on top, sugar + salt + cinnamon. Put on top crust greased & pat flour on enough to make it sticky & pat with milk. The under crust is sprinkled with flour.

Graham Cracker Cream Pie 16 Graham Crackers, rolled fine. 1 teaspoon flour. ½ cupful shortening - part butter - melted. ½ " [cupful] granulated sugar. 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Mix as for pie crust; take one-half of mixture and pack in pie-pan.
Custard Filling
2 egg-yolks | 2 cups milk |
¼ C. sugar | 2 tablespoons corn starch |
1 teaspoonful vanilla |
Meringue Make a meringue of 3 egg.

Graham Cracker Pudding Crumble fine, enough Graham Crackers to make 1¾ cups. Mix with them ½ C. flour, ¾ cup molasses, ½ cup finely chopped suet, cup of milk, cup of seedless raisins, a pinch of salt and a teaspoon baking soda dissolved in a tablespoon of boiling water.
