Dr. F. E. Bundy

Dear Sir

The lot you now own can probably be exchanged or two lots which would make up about the same size by your paying in addition $225 to $250 on both lots. You would then get lots under perpetual care.

Dear Sir

The price for the care of the four lots about which you ask, #922, 923, 924 and 925, would be $3 for any one lot, or if all are taken $10.00, and the price for top dressing would be $2.00 for any one lot, or $6.00 for all four.

To remove the fence and cut over the posts, so as to leave one at each corner of each lot, with a number & sod up the hole where the posts are taken out will cost $27.25 & I will allow you $15 for the old fence & posts.

The whole lot would be much improved by either resodding & cleaning of the headstones which would cost $75 to $80 more and this would put all of the lots in the best of order.

Yrs very truly, J.W. Lovering

S. C. Small Esq

Dear Sir

There is a lot next East of Lot #4343 and in the rear of lot #4370 Vernonia path which is 10 x 8 or rather can be divided to make a lot of that size which I will sell you for one hundred and seventy five dollarsThis includes the corner posts & numbers and also a good sod and there will be no annual charge for keeping the grass in order. This would be large enough for four interments and is quite near to the gate.

Saml T Snow Esq Chairman of the Committee on Lots

Dear Sir

The annual average cost per square foot of keeping the sod in order, including top dressing and all repairs of sod on lots under the perpetual Care of the Corporation is as follows,

Perpetual Care with Guaranty lots (all of which are in the old Cemetery and many of which have very steep terraces) average of six years 1873-1878 on 96,365 square feet - 3 2/3 cents

Perpetual Care of Grass lots (mostly on the Stone Farm, or on Althea & Clethra paths under Landscape Lawn restrictions) Average of three years 1876-1878 on 38,576 square feet - 2 3/8 cents

Equivalent to all average of 3 1/3 cents in any part of the Cemetery.

Respectfully J.W. Lovering
