Tues. Feb. 18, 1913

Got down early - busy day. Went to Suffrage com. meeting at 2 at 166 W. Wash. Dinner with L. Carr at Hearth. Walked home Very warm day

Wednesday 19

Very busy in office with proofs & odd jobs. Walked home.

Thursday 20

Miss Galvin & I went to teachers' meeting on S. Side & to "Our Wives" at night. Lunch with Theresa Garrett at Carson Piries.

Fri. Feb.21, 1913

Miss Galvin & I went to teachers' meeting on W. Side Pouring day. All the trees beautiful with snow like icicles at night.

Saturday 22

Room too cold for work so went to office at noon. Mrs Laird left. Mrs Broad came in. French at B. Temple at 5.30. Back to D. Inn for dinner & worked in office till 9.15

Sunday 23

Got up at ten & worked. Went to hear Mrs Potter at Garrick in afternoon. Dinner at Lincoln Parkway. Worked again. Feeling very well.

Mon. Feb. 24, 1913

Miss Galvin & I went to Teachers' Meeting in Hamlin Pk. Dinner at Dearborn Inn. Lucy Maverick took suite.

Tuesday 25

Did not go down till 11. Not very well. Miss Pierce lent me hot water bottle.

Wednesday 26

Got down to office at 12 Came home at 6.30 Very snowy all day

Thurs. Feb. 27, 1913

Got down late. Worked on odd jobs. Got L. Carr ready for Washington. She & Miss G. & I had dinner at Dearborn. Typed a chapter but shoulder got painful.

Friday 28

Saw Miss Carr off to Wash - - ington. Worked in office. Went to stenographers at Ursula Club. Came home & worked.

Sat Mar.1

Lunch with Miss Mason at Hearth. Miss M Mrs D & I had lunch at [Kranz's?Krauz's?]. French at 5.30 back to town & worked till 9.30 in office. Terribly cold

Sun. Mar. 2, 1913

Stayed in bed till 11. Worked all afternoon. Din-ner at Parkway. Talked with Lucy Maverick a little came & worked some more & washed things

Monday 3

Lunch with E Mason. Miss Henry came back Warmer day but lots of snow. Took Miss Brown to Dr Hedger. Went to Dr Van Hoesen myself

Tuesday 4

Lunch with Ethel Mason at Hearth. Dinner with Miss G. at Dearborn. Feeling very tired. Lucy Maverick & Miss Edwards called.
