Simon Johnson hung on until a few days before the election made Democrat speeches evidently to concentrate the party upon Cooper that party bing much the strongest in the County. At the close of the election I got more than three fourths of all the votes in the County.

To tell what a box will hold you multiply the lenth by the

bredth, and multiply that by the depth, then multiply that by 1728 which throws it all in to Cubit Inches. then devide that by 2150 4/10 which is the No of Cubit Inches in a bushel or devide it by 10752 which will give the No of barrels.
