Pleasant day. Not cold. Drove to see Lizzie, taking Miss Allen with me. Found Liz feeling pretty comfortable but looking very frail & weak. After driving back Miss A. and I took short walk about Univ. Campus & c. before lunch. Herbert at lunch looking very well after his holiday. Leslie tel. from bank his arrival from England. Dined with us in the evening. Edmund working at Biol. Bldg. both A.M. & P.M.. Late even for dinner. Looking very tired. Went again latter part of evening, making preparation for Class demonstrations.

Mrs. Laird in a few minutes at tea time.

Played cribbage in the evening - 3 hand. Talked to G. over tel. before going to bed.
