I the the undersigned do most respectfully petition Your Hon body for the Grading of 5th Street from James to Jefferson in accordance with the Grades now established or that the same may be made passible for a wagon, the improvements of James St having made it impossible for wagons to deliver goods at my residence.

Mr. President Your Committee on Streets to whom was refund of the petition L M Newman to whom was referred and others for the planting of 5th Street one side from Depot Street to Vine Street beg leave to repectfully submit the following report: your committee would recommend the Board of Public Works be authorized to proceed with said improvement according to this prayer of the annexed petition all of which is most respectfully submitted
