Gentlemen:
We your committee on Streets and Alleys, to whom was referred the matter of opening Laurel Street, Eastward from Hemphill Street, beg leave to report:
That since the last meeting of the Council, and without conference with your Committee, the owner of the property necessary to opening said Street has made arrangements to build a house thereon.
Upon receipt of this information we instructed the City Attorney to at once commence condemnation proceeding looking toward acquiring the property.
