To the Honorable Mayor and City Council of the City of Fort Worth, Texas.

Your Petitioners, residents of the Eight ward and owners of property abbutting in what is now known as Lynch St in said Ward. respectfully show that said Lynch St is a Continuation of Adams St. and that after being called Lynch Street, the same again is called Adams St on South of your Petitioners property. Petitioners therefore pray that said street be called Adams Street in future from Terrell Ave. South to the City limits and that the name of that portion opose'd street now known as Lynch St. be changed to Adams Street.

Hon The Mayor and City Council, City.

Gentlemen:

We your Committee on Streets & Alleys, to whom was referred the matter of opening Laurel Street, Eastward from Hemphill Street beg leave to relort:

That since the last meeting of the Council, and without conference with your Committee, the owners of the property necessary to opening siad Street has made arrangements to build a house thereon.

Upon receipt of this information we instructed the City Attorney to at once commence condemnation proceedings looking toward acquiring the property.

Asking your confirmation of our action, we are
