February 20th 1936 Thu I have done the general house work today and hemed [hemmed] 4 towels. Clarence James, June & William Ross came tonight and we played Rook.

February 21st 1936 Fri Sis came home from aunt Jessie's this morning. Aunt Jessie isn't any better. Jessie spen't the day with us.

February 22nd 1936 Sat I got breakfast, made 6 towels and 2 sheets and churned today. Sis finished making my rug today.

February 23rd 1936 Sun Rex isn't any better. I got breakfast & Sis got dinner. Clarance James Earl & Fletcher came this afternoon. I read a little this afternoon.

February 24th 1936 Mon. I helped do the general house work today and made a pin cushion. Rex isn't any better. Evelyn has been real sick today.

February 25th 1936 Tue. I helped do the general work and sewed today. I got a letter from Mother. Cousin Herb came this morning. Sis wen't to see Evelyn this morning. She is some better. Joseph came after Sis tonight & she wen't home with him. Amelia is sick also. Rex is better

February 26th 1936 Wed. I got breakfast, dinner & did the general house work & washed today. Rex is better. Sis came home from Jim's this afternoon. Evelyn & Amelia are a little better. Earl & Basil came this afternoon. Earl helped Dock hang up the meat. It rained real hard this afternoon.

February 27th 1936 Thu I wrote a letter to Mother. I ironed today & helped do the general house work & sewed a little this afternoon. I mended some socks also. Clarance & Basil came tonight. Clarance, Dock, Rex & Basil played Rook and I played 2 games.

February 28th 1936 Fri. I got breakfast, helped do the general house work and have sewed today. Sis wen't to see Evelyn and Amelia this afternoon and they are some better.

February 29th 1936 Sat. I made some soap, got dinner & helped clean up the house. I wen't to see Amelia & Evelyn this afternoon. They are better. Rex & Dock wen't to town this afternoon.

March 1st 1936 Sun. Sis got breakfast & I got dinner today & helped do the general house work. Loyd, cousin Ev., Joseph Clarance & June came this afternoon. Rex wen't to Mr. Horace Cox funeral & burial this afternoon. I have been reading "Silver Wings" by Grace Livingston Hill. June, Basil & Cornell came tonight & we played Rook.

March 2nd 1936 Mon. I got breakfast helped do the general house work & have sewed some today. I finished reading "Silver Wings," tonight. Rex hasn't felt so well today and has been around most of the day.

March 3rd 1936 Tue I got breakfast helped do the general house work & sewed today. Kate washed for us today. Sis wen't to see Amelia & Evelyn this afternoon. They are better. I read some today.

March 4th 1936 Wed. I got breakfast and ironed this morning and Sis got dinner. I embroidered a tea towel this afternoon and Sis ironed. Rex wen't to the Island today. I read some today

March 5th 1936 Thu I wrote a letter to Mother this morning. I finished reading Golden Dawn by Peter B. Kyne. I got a letter from Mother. Rex wen't to the Island today. Sis went to town this afternoon. She wen't to Jim's also. I quilted a pillow top this afternoon. I got supper tonight. John Marion ate supper with us.

March 6th 1936 Fri.

Mr. Merrill took Mrs. Merrill & I to Mrs. Rigney's and we quilted today.

March 7th 1936 Sat I have been nearly sick today. Sis wen't to Mrs. Rigney's and quilted today. I got dinner. Mr. Slaton don't feel well today. Ruby & Jasper came a little while tonight.

March 8th 1936 Sun I got dinner. I have felt a little better today. Somery[?] Forester, June, Basil & Joseph came this afternoon. June Joseph, Basil and I played Rook. Rex wen't to Loyd's this afternoon.

March 9th 1936 Mon I got breakfast & helped do the general house work and(inst.) I embroidered some(inst.) today. Sis wen't with Mr. & Mrs. Mevill to Mrs. Rigney's and helped quilt this afternoon.

March 10th 1936 Tue Kate washed for us today. I got breakfast helped do the general house work and embroidered some today and put some lace lace on an embroidered piece and on(inst.) a pair of pillow slips. I got a letter from Mother.
