March 11th 1936 Wed I got breakfast and ironed this morning and wrote a letter to Mother. I embroidered this afternoon. Sis wen't to town this afternoon.

March 12th 1936 Thu Sis ironed this morning and I finished embroidering a pillow top. I patched some this afternoon. Rex & I wen't to see Nealie tonight. She is some better.

March 13th 1936 Fri. I got breakfast, helped clean up the house and washed my green dress. I embroidered some today. Sis wen't to Mr. Sharp's funeral(inst.) at Grapevine this afternoon. Evelyn wen't with Sis.

March 14th 1936 Sat. I got dinner. Rex & I wen't to town this afternoon and I wen't to see Jessie. Rex & I wen't to Mother's and Dad's and will spend the night. Mr. Tom Stone is staying with Mother and Dad. I got a letter from Alyne Rogers today.

March 15th 1936 Sun We spen't the day with Mother and Dad. Rex wen't to see Uncle Brack this morning. Mother and I wen't to see Uncle Brack this afternoon. We came home this afternoon. Lanna, B.J., Bobby, Basil & Joseph came this afternoon.

March 16th 1936 Mon Sis put one of her quilts in the frames(inst.) and I helped her quilt some. William Slaton(inst.) came tonight and will spend the night. Leona came home from Detroit tonight & Elizabeth came with her.

March 17th 1936 Tue William wen't home this morning. Kate washed. Sis and I quilted today. Basil came a little while this afternoon.

March 18th 1936 Wed I ironed this morning and Sis quilted. Sis & I quilted this afternoon. Leona, Elizabeth, Cornell, Earl & Basil came tonight and we played Rook & had a real good time.

March 19th 1936 Thu I washed a few pieces this morning and Sis ironed. Sis & I cleaned some in the yard this afternoon

March 20th 1936 Fri It snowed some today I ironed a few pieces this morning. Sis & I quilted today. I wrote a letter to Mother. Joseph came tonight.

March 21st 1936 Sat I got breakfast and cleaned up the kitchen. Peachie & Marie Rogers came this afternoon. Basil came also. Sis & I quilted sometime this afternoon. Sis, Rex & I wen't to Earl's tonight & listened to Basil's new Radio Part of us played Rook.

March 22nd 1936 Sun I got breakfast & Sis got dinner. Rex, Sis & I wen't to church at Browdens this morning.

March 23rd 1936 Mon. I cleaned up the house & Sis baked 2 cakes, boiled a ham and made some custard. It has rained some today. Kate washed today.

March 24th 1936 Tue. Mr. Slaton is 82 years old today. Modest, Ruby, Loyd Jasper, Edna, Amelia, Jim Nora Lee, Evelyn, John Marion Lawrence, Jess, Miss Jennie Green, Cousin Herb all came to Mr. Slatons birthday dinner. Lonna, B.J. & Bobby ate supper with us.

March 25th 1936 Wed. Sis & I wen't to Mrs. Rigney's today to the missionary meeting.

March 26th 1936 Thu. I got breakfast, wrote a letter to Mother, ironed, churned & quilted some today. Sis ironed & quilted today also. It rained real hard today.

March 27th 1936 Fri. Sis & I have quilted today & done the general house work.

March 28th 1936 Sat. Sis & I have quilted today. I got a letter from Mother. Rex wen't to town this afternoon. Ruby came a little while tonight.

March 29th 1936 Sun. Stayed at home all day. Joseph came this afternoon. William Slaton got married last night.

March 30th 1936 Mon. Kate washed for us today. Sis & I have quilted & done the general house work today. Rex & Dock wen't with a bunch of people & they chivalreed William tonight.
