May 10th 1936 Sun. Sis wen't to Sunday School & I got dinner. Edna, Albert & Evelyn came this morning. I went to Earl's this afternoon & listened to a Mother's Day program. Rex & I wen't to The Baccalaureate sermon at Bethleham tonight.
May 11th 1936 Mon Kate washed. I helped do the general house work . Sis wen't to town this afternoon. Sis wen't with Mr. & Mrs. Mevill to Hanson this afternoon.
May 12th 1936 Tue. I ironed this morning & mended some clothes this afternoon. I got a letter from Mother. Mother and Dad both are not well.
May 13th 1936 Wed. Sis ironed. Sis & I worked in the yard this afternoon. Loyd, Lin & Jess came this afternoon.

May 14th 1936 Thu. Sis wen't to town this afternoon. I read a good deal today & helped do the general house work. Lin & Uncle Gus Fowler came this afternoon. Jim came a little while also.
May 15th 1936 Fri. Wrote a letter to Mother. Sis & I worked in the yard a while this morning. Mr. & Mrs. Mevill, Leona & I wen't to Mrs. Rigney's this afternoon & helped quilt on Mrs. Miles embroidered quilt.
May 16th 1936 Sat. I helped do the general house work. Rex & I wen't to town this afternoon.
May 17th 1936 Sun. Stayed at home all day Somery Forester came this morning. Lanna, B.J. Amelia, Mary, Aunt Jessie, Fletcher, Stella, Lin & Jessie came this afternoon.

May 18th 1936 Mon I helped do the general house work & pieced 8 fan blocks this afternoon.
May 19th 1936 Tue. I helped do the general house work. Sis wen't to town this afternoon. Amelia came a little while this afternoon. I got a letter from Mother today.
May 20th 1936 Wed Mrs. Merrill Mrs. Ausforough[?] and Leona came this afternoon & helped Sis & I piece on a fan quilt for the Missionary Society.
May 21st 1936 Thu. Leona came this afternoon & helped Sis & I finish piecing the fan quilt. I wrote a letter to Mother today.

May 22nd 1936 Fri Sis & washed this morning & gathered some cherries this afternoon.
May 23rd 1936 Sat. Sis & I ironed this morning. Sis wen't to town this afternoon. Earl & Leona wen't with Sis.
May 24th 1936 Sun Sis wen't to Sunday School & Church at Browdens this morning Joseph & Dock brought me to Mother's & Dad's this afternoon & I will stay a while with them Uncle Rufe is here also. I wen't to see Uncle Brack this afternoon. He is sick.
May 25th 1936 Mon Uncle Rufe wen't home this morning I have been to see Uncle Brack several times today. He is pretty sick.

May 26th 1936 Tue Dad wen't to town Mother & I washed I wen't to see Uncle Brack several times. He is some better. Mother & I started house cleaning the living room & hall this afternoon.
May 27th 1936 Wed. We finished cleaning the living room and hall this morning and ironed this afternoon. wen't to see Uncle Brack several times Ocie & J.D. came this afternoon.
May 28th 1936 Thu Started cleaning the back porch today. Ocie & Amy Florance came this afternoon and wen't(inst.) with Mother & I to see Uncle Brack. He is better. I wrote a letter to Rex.
May 29th 1936 Fri We finished cleaning the porch. Rex came a little while this afternoon and we wen't to see Uncle Brack. Dad wen't to town & got some straw berries. Mother Mr. Stone & I capped them.
