Lay her head to the South by the Wind Lite winds and Clear Sky a little Bird came on board resembling a Wren,-- I Expect a Greenlander Hove about and Stood N.E.-- Saw a Warter Spout in the P. W at Some Distance,-- Also a very large Whale and a kind of a Sea Monster, whose head had the appearance of a Dog tho Much larger, I Allow 12 Miles to the N. E. for Current or Some unknown Cause, A Great Swell from the S.W. M. Sail Set Variation 2¾ P W.
