I have to use a book and my fingers and such a time I do have. It takes me a while to count up the french money for it does not seem near as easy as our American money. We are having very nice weather here and the sun rising in the mornings is very beautiful. But dear I would much rather watch the sun set beyond the Golden Gate.
I received an Xmas card from your folks in Redwood City and I certainly was glad to hear from them. Dear I wrote your dad a letter a couple of days ago and will send another in the near future. I did not send any from Camp Mills as I did not have the

me all about dear old Frisco. So darling don't you forget to do that for me. I hope you are well and happy dear and hope that you enjoy your self while I am away. You can't imagine how lonesome and love sick I am dear. I am always looking forward to the day for my return.
