Tuesday 21st All this day had light wind NE and plesant [PLEASANT] weather steer N West brake [BROKE] out and Cooper the rest of our Oil and stow it all away 120 barrels in the fore hatch Latitude Longitude

Wednesday 22ond Commenced with light wind from N East and plesant [PLEASANT] Middle and Latter part had the wind Nth [NORTH] Brake [BROKE] out for water and stow the Sails in the Main hatch and paint a spare Boat In Lat [LATITUDE] Longitude

Thursday 23th [RD] Commenced with plesant [PLEASANT] weather an[D] light wind from Nth [NORTH] steer by the wind Middle and Last parts had strong wind and dark weather onbent [UNBENT?] the main sail and Bend another in Latitude Longitude

Friday 24th Throughout this Day had strong w[IND] from S East and Darke hazey [DARK HAZY] weath[ER] Ship under all sail steering NW watch variously Employed Lat [LATITUDE] Long [LONGITUDE]

Thursday 6th Commenced with pleasant weather and light wind from W by South steer to the NW Middle and Latter part[S] had some rain and fog wind from the same quawter [QUARTER] steer the same Course watch employed at Ships duty so goes Latitude 38..29 Nth [NORTH] Longitude 140..30

Friday 7th Began with strong wind from West and dark weather steering to the Northward clost [CLOSE] haul Middle and Last parts had a gale and quite squally handed Top gallant sails and Reefed the Mizzen Top Sail I[N] Latitude 40..25 Longitud[E] 141..00
