1867 July Th 25 Wash Oats The morning is quite clear calm & warm. Wash Porter (Col) halled up & put in the Old Crib what he said was my portion of Oats, 375 bundles he is a verry much dog he has been using them ever since he cut them about 2 weeks but says he has not used any (they were verry much molded) of it. Fr 2d Rain The morning is cloudy looks like rain There was a verry heavy rain last night about 12 or 1 oclock enough to raise the wat ters & wet the ground thoraly. We have fine Crops at this time.
