The City Attorney submits a memorial of the Common Council of the City of Seattle praying that the Government of the United States admit the Territory of Washington to the sisterhood of states. 689 COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE Dec 28 1888 Ordered that the Committee on Street Lights place two lights in rear of Canadian Pacific Docks. Ordered that the $600.00 paid by Frank Clancy for a retail liquor license be refunded to him. Upon motion of Councilman Green the Mayor appoints Messrs Durie and Jones a committee to receive the Road Commission. Ordered that the Fire & Water Committee purchase a Lumber wagon for the use of the Fire Department. To The City Council Of the city of Seattle Gentlemen:-- I submit herewith for your consideration the claim of A M Kent for salary due him from May 17th., to June 17th., 1891, together with his claim for $7.40 money paid out for various purposes while a member of the Police Force.
